Community Guidelines

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create and maintain an account on BetterFriend. If we discover that a user is under 18, the account will be immediately suspended or terminated. We may request identity verification to confirm a user's age.

Authenticity

Users must provide accurate and truthful information when creating profiles. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Impersonating another individual
• Creating fake or misleading profiles
• Misrepresenting personal details such as age, gender, identity, or location

Accounts found violating these rules may be suspended or permanently removed.

Compliance with Applicable Laws

All content shared on the Platform must comply with Indian laws, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Penal Code.

• Content that threatens national security, public order, or promotes illegal activities is strictly prohibited.
• BetterFriend may cooperate with law enforcement authorities when legally required.

Nudity and Sexual Content

The following types of content are not permitted on BetterFriend:

• Full or partial nudity
• Sexually explicit images, videos, or live content
• Pornographic material or solicitation of sexual services
• Content involving sexual exploitation or abuse
• Revenge porn or non-consensual intimate content
• Sextortion or coercive sexual behavior
• Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual advances

In addition: Shirtless photos indoors, lingerie images, or underwear photos are not allowed. Content clearly displaying or outlining genitals, nipples, or areolas is prohibited.

Harassment, Bullying, and Abuse

BetterFriend maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or abusive behavior, including:

• Threats or abusive language
• Personal attacks or humiliation
• Harassment based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, disability, or sexual orientation
• Stalking or persistent unwanted contact
• Blackmail or coercion

Intellectual Property

Users must respect intellectual property rights. You may not:

• Post copyrighted or trademarked content without permission
• Repost or distribute someone else's content without proper authorization or attribution

Violence and Dangerous Activities

The following content is strictly prohibited:

• Graphic violence or gore
• Depictions of serious injury or suffering
• Promotion of violent organizations, terrorism, or organized crime
• Animal cruelty or content glorifying violence

Hate Speech and Discrimination

BetterFriend prohibits content that:

• Promotes hatred or discrimination
• Incites violence against individuals or groups
• Dehumanizes people based on race, religion, nationality, gender, disability, or other protected characteristics

Self-Harm, Suicide, and Abuse

Content promoting or encouraging self-harm, suicide, or abuse is not permitted. This includes:

• Graphic depictions of self-harm or suicide
• Content that glorifies or encourages abusive behavior toward individuals

Illegal Activities

The promotion or facilitation of illegal activities is strictly prohibited. This includes:

• Selling, promoting, or distributing illegal goods such as drugs or weapons
• Providing instructions on creating illegal items or engaging in unlawful acts
• Fraud, scams, or impersonation for financial gain

Non-Consensual Content

Users must not post or share personal content of others without their explicit consent. This includes:

• Sharing intimate images or videos without permission
• Revealing someone's personal information such as contact details or financial data with harmful intent

Spam and Misleading Content

Content that misleads users or promotes fraudulent activities is not allowed. This includes:

• Repetitive commercial spam
• Artificially inflating engagement (likes, comments, etc.)
• Fraudulent or deceptive promotions

Misinformation

BetterFriend does not permit the spread of misinformation, including:

• Deliberate disinformation or fake news
• Dangerous conspiracy theories or exaggerated claims

• Sharing, producing, or distributing content depicting child sexual abuse
• Visual depictions (including illustrations or cartoons) of sexually explicit conduct involving minors
• Sharing links or third-party content that sexualizes children

Users may share images of their children provided they are lawful, appropriate, and depict children fully clothed. Photos showing the genitalia or buttocks of babies or children, even if partially covered, are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate account removal and reporting to the relevant authorities.

Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment is strictly prohibited on and off the Platform, including:

• Sharing unsolicited explicit images
• Sharing private sexual images without consent
• Making unwanted sexual advances or comments
• Fetishizing or sexually objectifying others without consent

Bullying and Abusive Conduct

Bullying and abusive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes:

• Insulting, degrading, or harassing comments
• Emotional abuse or blackmail
• Persistent unwanted contact

Controlled Goods and Substances

Content promoting or facilitating the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or controlled substances is not allowed. This includes:

• Promoting drug use
• Sharing instructions on how to make illegal substances

Dangerous Organizations

BetterFriend does not allow individuals or organizations that promote violence, terrorism, or hate to have a presence on the Platform.

Scams and Theft

Any form of fraudulent activity intended to deceive users for financial gain is strictly prohibited. Examples include:

• Romance scams
• Financial fraud
• Misrepresenting identity for financial benefit

Violent and Graphic Content

BetterFriend does not allow violent or graphic content, including:

• Images showing excessive blood or injuries
• Human remains
• Violence or cruelty toward individuals or animals

• Creating fake or multiple accounts
• Attempting to evade suspension by creating new accounts
• Interfering with or exploiting platform systems

Violations may result in permanent banning.

• Content Removal – Removing content that violates the Guidelines
• Account Suspension or Termination – Temporary or permanent account bans
• Legal Action – Cooperation with law enforcement authorities when required
